液下渣浆泵为单级、单吸悬臂式结构，用轴承座，支承座，联接管连接泵的水力部件，液体由出液管部件排出，泵的叶轮为半开式叶轮，在叶轮叶片进口延伸处设有搅拌叶片，该泵主要特点是在液下部位的泵轴，有足够的刚度，叶轮，泵壳之间不设轴承，不采用轴封，可以输送含有较大浓度固定颗粒的介质。

进口液下渣浆泵工作原理：Working principle of imported submerged slurry pump:

泵的立式电动机以螺栓固紧电机座上，并通过弹性联轴器与泵直接传动、泵体、中间接管、泵架、出液管、管法兰，以螺栓联接构成一体，固定在底板上，泵的整体通过底板安装在容器上。新型进口液下泵可输送易燃易爆等轻质性介质，因设计上的改进几乎无磨损、免维护、低耗能。
2、新型进口液下泵内部结构采用不锈钢制成，定子和转子之间有一个大约相当于一张A4纸厚度的缝隙，介质从中间流过，起到两个作用：一是给电机降温，从而保障电机寿命。二、液体从定子和转子之间的缝隙流过，对轴承起到很好的润滑作用。电机的温升[6] 问题和轴承的磨损问题都得到了有效解决。
